Brief History

A&G Electric had its beginning in 1983 with its original two owners / employees – Rick Ackley and Wayne Gartner – operating out of the back of Linden’s Propeller Shop as a small firm serving Dubuque, Iowa.

From there, A&G Electric made a move to 595 Huff Street and continued growing steadily over the years, continuously expanding our services to Dubuque and the surrounding Tri-State communities.

In 2015, A&G Electric moved to our present location at 490 East 14th Street – right next to Linden’s Propeller Shop.
